Top Cardio Workout Machines to Lose Belly Fat and Get Flat Abs

One of the best ways to burn belly fat is to do cardio workouts for abs. This is common knowledge. However, not all cardio is made equal, and often the kind of workout you decide to do can have a tremendous effect on the kind of results that you get.

That being said, what are the best cardio machines to lose the most belly fat?

1. Treadmill - I'm sure you already knew that, but the treadmill holds a place of honor among cardio machines because running is a fantastic cardio workout which works the entire body and helps you burn a lot of body fat. You can also walk on a treadmill which is also a perfectly good workout.

2. Rowing machine - The rowing machine isn't as popular as it should be and that's a shame because rowing is a great way to get a strength workout and a cardio workout at the same time. You work the arms, shoulders, and back and burn a lot of calories. You also tone your upper body as your shed body fat.

3. Stair climber - I like the Stair Climber because it incorporates strength elements along with the aerobic stimulation. It works the upper thighs and your entire leg as well. This machine provides a double benefit: cardio and strength workout at the same time.

4. Upright stationary bike - Let me start by saying at I don't like the recumbent stationary bike, the one where you can sit back. It is not intensive enough to my taste. The upright bike is a different story especially if you put on a good dose of resistance. Great for people with bad knees who don't want to run. This machine can help you to burn a lot of body fat in general and belly fat in particular.

It's been said that women become more beautiful and more vibrant as they mature. Moving past the 40 year mark seems to be a critical time for many women. It's a time when it's important to make good decisions about your health.

Sometimes people get off the track. They might get off of their exercise routines or start to eat food that is not the best for them or eat it at the wrong times of the day. It's easy to fall off track but it's important that you get back on. One of the ways to get back on the road to your best health is to choose a weight loss workout program for women over 40.

Many women over 40 are bombarded with expectations from others. Those other people can be family members, people in the office, or anyone that you decide to give your time and energy to. It's important that you take time to give to yourself.

Giving too much time to everyone else and no time to yourself makes the chance of you not taking care of yourself and even gaining unwanted weight more of a likelihood.

So what are some of the best ways for you to get back on track to take care of yourself and shed some of the weight that you might have put on over time.

The first rule of thumb is to make time. Take time to plan time for yourself just like you take time to plan the rest of your day. Make sure that the time you plan for yourself is also the time you take. Do not let other things come in the way of your time to be healthy and strong.

There are many options available to you. Some of them include walking, riding a bike, sprinting on a flat surface of sprinting uphill (which gives you even more of a heart burning, fat blasting workout), swimming, Pilates, yoga, weight training, or some form of body weight training exercise.

Whatever you choose be sure that you are committed to the program for at least 3 months. It's also important that you choose a program that includes elements of high intensity movement and strength.

High intensity movement and strength are important when choosing any weight loss workout program for women over 40. Movement of any kind is good but if you want fat burning and body reduction to take place then it's vitally important for you to move quickly and explosively. It's ok to start slowly but remember to work on ramping up your intensity level over time.

Strength training is also important to losing weight. Building muscle burns fat. Weight training is a great way to build lean, strong muscle and burn extra weight off. Another form of weight training that is growing in popularity are body weight exercises.

One of the body weight exercise routines that is rapidly growing in popularity is the Combat Endurance Training program. Developed by a Special Forces captain this program promotes core and overall strength development along with cardiovascular fitness and flexibility.

Carrying around extra weight can be frustrating and can also rob you of your energy. Make it a point to become your healthy best.
